Full-time Nuke Compositor for Creative Automation at Cube in Amsterdam

Cube is founded by Ambassadors Lab which is the studio for innovation and creative technology within Ambassadors.

About the role

Ambassadors Lab is a team of technology enthusiasts working dedicated to innovating new products and workflows that impact and improve the creative advertising industry. Join us as a Nuke Compositor and contribute to our key software product Cube, a platform that offers leading brands and agencies such as Booking.com, Ahold, and N26 with creative workflow and creative automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Nuke Compositor, you will create animations, effects, rendered images and videos for dynamic ads using Cube Creative Automation, our dynamic video templating engine
Collaborate closely with the Cube Creative Automation Team Lead, Developers and Account Managers, from receiving client briefs to creating digital assets, all the while maintaining a high technical standards and meeting project timelines
Be a true team player, with the initiative to flag issues at an early stage, collaborate on solutions to achieve our collective goals, and keep an open mind and a willingness to learn and grow
Contribute to the continuous evolution of the Cube Creative Automation pipeline
Collaborate with other departments, including design and animation departments, to ensure a smooth asset delivery between teams

About you

A strong showreel is essential, and ideally you have a Bachelor's degree from a CG/VFX school (HBO)
You preferably have 2+ years of relevant work experience
You’ve got core Compositing software skills in Nuke with skills in After Effects considered a plus
An interest in learning Python or scripting is a must, and existing experience or knowledge is a big advantage
Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive with creative problem-solving skills.
A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for VFX and visual storytelling - we like to keep work fun
Interested in developing your skills in programming, as well as in animation and design
Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate professionally with our international team
You are comfortable working with MacOS
Eligible to work in The Netherlands
